- Historical data shows that it was Herbert A Gilbert who came up with the idea of vaping in 1963, and in 1965, he patented this invention.
- A Chinese pharmacist - Hun Lik, created the first e-cig in 2000. By 2006, his employer, Ruyan group, assisted in its introduction to the world with Europe as the first Continent it hit.
- The first set of e-cigarettes was created by Hun Lik with the intention of reducing tobacco consumption. Sadly, this was inspired by his father’s death.
Since 2007, e-cigarettes have gained more popularity and have become widely accepted. This can be credited to the fact that there's been a whole lot of new modifications in the way vaporisers work.
Tips to Enhance Vaping
The cool thing about vaping is the ability to customize your experience and further improve your overall experience. This will ultimately have you producing large and satisfying amounts of vapor. If you're wondering how to reach Pro status, here are 4 tips to get you started.
- Take Care of Your Batteries
Batteries are important, if not the main component of vapes, and the very reason why they are called e-cigarettes in the first place. Choose your vape battery wisely by considering factors like the operating time, charging time, and the high current rating.
In addition to purchasing good batteries, another thing you need to know is how to take care of it properly. You need to make sure you clean your e-cig batteries at least once a day, especially if you use it daily. Do not use cleaners or soaps because this can affect the battery’s performance. Simply use cotton wool or Q-Tips to wipe the space between the cartridge and battery as well as any other noticeable dirt.
- Experiment with Different Flavours
Why stick to one flavour when you have so many options to choose from? This includes the vampire blood e-liquid which has a nice nicotine shot in it along with a range of exciting flavours.
It's not all about the fun in variety though, regularly changing vape flavours prevents damage to your taste buds which eventually results in a condition called a vapour’s tongue. Vapour’s tongue kicks in when you continuously use one flavour of e-liquid.
Vapour juice which eventually settles in your tongue making everything else taste the same. This can stop you from enjoying other flavours and eventually dampen your vaping experience.
- Clean the Coil and Tank when Changing Flavours
To prevent your vapours from developing strange smells, it is important to clean your coils and tanks regularly, especially when changing flavours. If you notice that your e-liquid is beginning to have a burnt flavour to it, then it's time to consider changing your coils.
In the case that you vape daily and for long periods of time, then you should have a supply of replacement coils readily available so you can change them regularly - an average of 2 weeks is okay.
